  I. Job Summary

Responsible for becoming familiar with client's business (an assigned organization within WM), key success factors and obstacles and providing strategic direction, coaching and planning to help organize and implement organizational effectiveness and training and development programs.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Other minor duties may be assigned.  

Becomes familiar with client’s business including but not limited to client’s products, services, key customers, competitive landscape, business performance, key success factors, issues and obstacles. Provides strategic direction, planning, leadership, supervision, coaching and overall management of the training and development function to an assigned organization within WMSBS. Plans, organizes and implements organizational effectiveness and training and development programs that align with the overall company goals and business objectives. Participates in strategic planning discussions and determines appropriate modality for organizational effectiveness and training and development programs for current state and future state. Responsible for needs analysis, design, and development of Learning solutions.  Design and develop e-learning solutions applications and integration into assigned WM organization. Researches, benchmarks and proposes “best in class” training and development solutions designed to support the company’s strategic direction with a specific focus on assigned client organization (e.g., Sales, Customer Service). Negotiates and agrees on service and delivery options, timing, resources and measures. Responsible for demonstrating desired delivery of curriculum whether instructor led or asynchronous III. Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervises Training Specialists within the Training & Development team.

  IV. Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

 A. Education and Experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or similar area of study or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four years of relevant work experience.

Experience: Seven years of prior work experience including experience managing a high performance work team (in addition to education requirement).

C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

Building and managing systematic change programs Knowledge of learning design platforms such as Camtasia, Articulate, and Microsoft Office suite Planning and implementing programs to enhance productivity and quality of work Knowledge and demonstrated understanding of adult learning styles and instructional design Experience in assessing, delivering and measuring organizational effectiveness and training and development programs Demonstrated experience in partnering with business/organizational leaders to translate business objectives into effective learning solutions and development programs Strong consultant approach to client relationships Ability to demonstrate ROI and business impacts from learning interventions V.  Normal setting for this job is: office setting (Winsor, CT); Hybrid schedule   The expected pay range for this hybrid position across the U.S is $105K- 133,000K. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
