Job SummaryThe Learning Consultant 2 supports Baylor Scott & White Health's goals by planning, designing, developing, implementing, delivering, facilitating, and evaluating learning programs.
Essential Functions of the RoleTakes the lead in consulting with clients, stakeholders, and experts to understand and clarify needs, interventions, and scope.Takes the lead in planning, designing, developing, implementing, and delivering learning solutions at BSWH. Focuses on strategic initiatives aligned with the L&D strategy to enhance effectiveness and satisfy clients. This work aligns with other L&D efforts to avoid conflict or duplication.Selects and uses teaching aids and materials to support programs. Meets business and client needs using adult learning best practices.Manages complex projects for planning learning and development programs. Focuses on core leadership competencies for general leadership to meet personal and organizational needs.Facilitates high level, strategic learning engagements to improve leaders' success.Collects assessment and client feedback data. Examines with the team to establish the effectiveness of learning and development solutions. Uses feedback and evaluation data to improve offerings.Works with L&D team to improve learning and development services. Ensures quality interventions based on evaluation, feedback, and business needs.Consults with managers in workshops to improve their leadership effectiveness.Designs and implements training needs assessments, ROI studies, and customized learning programs for strategic initiatives with managers.Performs other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional, and courteous way.Key Success FactorsExperience in a corporate environment with working knowledge of operations, communications, and human resources.Excellent communications (both oral and written), training, computer, and social skills.Excellent planning, management, and organizational skills.Knowledgeable about staff engagement strategies and best practices.Ability to work cross-functionally as a partner across all areas of the organization and interact with all staff.Possession of excellent project management and prioritization skills with attention to deadlines and details.Ability to work with and respect sensitive and confidential information.Belonging StatementWe believe that all people should feel welcomed, valued and supported.

EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualificationEXPERIENCE - 5 Years of ExperienceHybrid expectation: On-site every other week for training (2x a year travel to NTX for meetings)Preferences: Epic and revenue cycle experience
