This role partners cross-functionally to translate complex technical content into engaging, effective learning experiences. You will play a critical role in shaping the overall learning strategy by identifying performance gaps, recommending appropriate solutions, and ensuring measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate brings strong instructional design expertise, technical proficiency, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Success in this role requires balancing learner experience with business priorities while maintaining high standards of quality and execution.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement learning solutions aligned to business needs and adult learning best practices.Translate highly technical content into clear, engaging instructional materials.Ensure quality standards across instructional effectiveness, technical functionality, visual design, and accessibility compliance.Collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure accuracy and impact.Manage multiple learning projects, including planning, timelines, resource coordination, and stakeholder communication.Essential SkillsExtensive instructional design experience with demonstrated knowledge of ADDIE, SAM, or similar methodologies.Advanced proficiency in Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise) or similar authoring tools.Proven ability to translate complex technical content into effective learning experiences.Strong visual design judgment and adherence to brand standards.Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in aerospace, engineering, or manufacturing environments.Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, and accessibility testing tools or equivalent.Work EnvironmentThe work environment includes the use of LMS systems such as Zensai/Learn365/LMS365, and tools like Articulate 360 and Camtasia. The role requires effective HR administration and familiarity with systems such as Workday. The position is based in Long Beach, operating five days a week. The environment is dynamic and requires adaptability to evolving business needs.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
