Job Summary: Continuous improvement promotes a culture of continuous improvement within the organization by seeking feedback from employees, implementing best practices and suggesting innovative ideas. Provides training and guidance to employees on operational excellence methodologies and tools to build capability and drive improvement initiatives. Facilitates structures problem solving acclivities utilizing 9SPS and A rank methodology to drive enterprise excellence. Collects and analyses data related to safety quality, inventory and productivity performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Guides and supports employees through change initiatives and communicating the benefits, addressing concerns, and providing necessary training.
Responsibilities: Identify potential safety hazards and report them to the appropriate personnel.Participate in A-rank assessments.Coach adherence to 5S standards through consistent communication and feedback within area of responsibility.Ability to create standard work through work study toolsCoach and support population on MDI boards. Facilitates MDI standard work execution Executes o process confirmation standard workAssist in organizing and archiving logbook records to ensure accessibility and traceability for future reference.Facilitates communication between relevant stakeholders during the change implementation process.Maintain and update visual management boards on tools to track progress and communicate performance.Assist in problem solving discussions during the Gemba and provide input of possible solutions.
Qualifications:Associates or Bachelor of Science degree or related discipline preferred (Equivalent education/training or experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree).minimum 3 years of experience working in a Lean environment, training, coaching and developing Lean Principles and continuous improvement-based tools and techniques.Experience facilitating at least 10 successful rapid improvement in operational and financial metrics.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to speak and communicate effectively with various audiences.Viewed as a leader who can energize and motivate inclusive teams, and a positive influencer of change.
