As part of the Flexible Pipe Systems Offshore team based in Niterói/RJ, you will be joining an established business and team with expertise in pipe design, manufacturing, and installation. This unique combination allows our customers to increase production and asset integrity whilst reducing the overall costs associated with a pipeline system.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lean Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lean manufacturing principles and practices, with a focus on continuous improvement, waste reduction, and operational efficiency.

As a Lean Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Conducting thorough assessments of current processes to identify inefficiencies, waste, and areas for improvement.Implementing and promoting lean tools and techniques such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, TPM, and Root Cause Analysis.Oversee Daily Lean Management routine across different functions.Leading and facilitating continuous improvement projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. Track and report on project progress and outcomes.Educating and training employees on lean principles and practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.Working closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, supply chain, and engineering, to drive operational excellence and enhance overall performance.Developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of lean initiatives and ensure sustained improvements.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Production or Mechanical Engineering are preferred.Have proven experience in a lean engineering role for at least 3 years, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.Have advanced English.Have advanced Excel experience.Have Green Lean Six Sigma certificate.Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
