Operational Excellence (OE) is the game changer for the factory and directs the Flow transformation journey towards a lean way of producing our systems. Do you have the knowledge and experience to co-lead (with line management) our OE transformation as a Lean change agent? With your talent and experience in Lean thinking you can add value to our Operational Excellence journey and team by teaching, coaching and challenging the senior management and teams involved in the Operational Excellence Flow transformation.
Role and responsibilities
As a Lean change agent you will co-lead (with line management) the OE transformation within TWINSCAN factory, with a focus on embedding Lean philosophy where people are engaged to improve processes continuously to boost business impact. You will support the TWINSCAN Factory business leaders and guide teams with training, coaching and facilitation and lead and execute improvement projects to drive business impact. Together with line management you build internal capabilities to improve processes and results by cross functional teams on a daily basis. You act as a role model for the lean way of working and respectfully challenge the status quo.
As a Lean change agent, you'll:
Train, coach and challenge the OE related deployment activities
Build capabilities and develop the TF organization
Train people in applying lean in their own area (daily management, problem-solving, 5S, standard work, etc)
Enable the organization in identifying and removing wastes in the processes
Facilitate and execute improvement events (kaizen)
Improve and standardize the way of working within the lean team
Act as challenger and catalyst in promoting lean leadership behavior
Respectfully challenge the status quo and act as a role model for Lean thinking.
Education and experienceHold a Bachelor’s degree with experience in Manufacturing, Engineering or Supply Chain environment
5+ years of work experience
Experience with Lean principles in various manufacturing setting
Expert knowledge of lean, process improvement and quality management tools
Practical application of problem-solving methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma)
At least 2+ years of experience in Flow manufacturing
SkillsFluency in English
Ability to persuade and influence others, including senior management (stakeholder management)
Coaching skills
Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
Speak up and dares to have courageous conversations
Basic project management skills
Team player
Proactive self-starter, hands-on mentality, getting things done
