We are looking for a Leaf Buyer who will be based in Plant Sukorejo - East Java.

 

Your ‘day to day’: 

Leading proactively analysis on market intelligence insights with data, reports and cost opportunities. Identify and propose cost savings opportunities & report market intelligence that identifies productivities in the market.Ensuring Purchases match the desired product quality, by coordinating grade set up & trial run execution and follow up.Optimize the packing/shipping process per supplier, ensuring that priorities and urgencies are met.Active contribution during the price negotiations, resulting in Leaf prices in line or favorable vs. LPP (Leaf Purchase Plan). Coordinating the price negotiation preparations at Cluster Level.Support Cluster Sustainability team on the supplier management and commitment towards PMI Sustainability targets while providing visibility related to Leaf Buying strategy and actual purchases per LPP. Lead the Buying team action plan regarding product integrity, minimizing CPAs (Crop protection agents) and NTRMs (Non tobacco related materials) risks.Monitor the Shipment calendar agreed in the negotiations and support in resolutions of any deviations.

 

Who we’re looking for:  

Minimum bachelor’s degree (S1) Minimum 3 years in leaf and agricultural activities.Have tobacco knowledge, leaf processing and leaf financeGood and effective written and verbal communication skills
