Leadership Teacher 6-12 Qualifications • Los Angeles Leadership Academy employee • Teaching Credential • Knowledgeable of LALA policies and procedures • Proficient in the implementation of technology • Effective Communication Skills • Satisfactory Evaluations Responsibilities • Oversee the department and organization of school events by student leaders • Attend school events hosted by student leadership • Dedicate time after instruction for event planning and development of the student leadership • Manage logistical requirements of events • Mentor students volunteer hours dedicated toward student leadership • Work with the Director of Finance on budget oversight and compliance of the student leadership events, as well as the implementation of LALA’s fiscal policies • Hold monthly meetings (at least 2 meetings a month) • Build relationship with K-5 Leadership Teacher
