The Opportunity
The Leader Technical Support II works out of our Irving TX location in the Core Diagnostics Division of Abbott Rapid Diagnostics.
Our diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories, and clinics around the globe. The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments, and informatics systems is often the first step in patient care decision-making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers.
What You’ll Work On
Provides direction, leadership and management of all scientific regulatory, marketing, compliance and customer support activities for a product family and/or processes. Accomplishes goals related to expanded internal investigations, expanded complaint investigations, design control, new product development, product availability and financial performance. Fosters continuous improvement. Plans and manages financial, capital, and human resource needs. Actively supports the personal and professional development of individuals. Acts as a liaison to management and associated functional groups. Accountable for internal/external customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications
B.S. in Science or similar degrees
Experience includes leading others at multiple levels in project management, product development/ launch / on-market leadership, crisis management, customer interactions.
Proven ability to develop others.
Knowledge and understanding of business metrics.
Experience includes multiple functions (R&D, TPD, QA, OPs, etc), products, and/or platforms.
Experience with resource planning, budgetary management, and personnel administration.

Master's and PH.D Preferred

The base pay for this position is $111,300.00 – $222,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
