**What You’ll Do**
As the Leader of Network Experiences and AI, you will redefine how networks are designed, managed, and optimized by leveraging cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and technologies. In this role, you will lead the technical marketing strategy for Cisco’s Catalyst 9000 hardware and software portfolio, delivering innovative solutions that harness AI to create unparalleled network experiences. Your focus will be on empowering customers and partners through AI-driven insights, automation, and capabilities, while driving sales enablement and go-to-market strategies for campus switching products.
You will lead a team of Technical Marketing Engineers (TMEs) in delivering transformative solutions, seamlessly integrating AI into Cisco’s networking portfolio. By combining technical expertise, market intelligence, and AI innovations, you will shape the future of network operations and customer experiences.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ AI-Driven Innovation: Leverage AI tools and technologies to drive the evolution of Catalyst 9000 products, creating smarter, more adaptive network solutions that anticipate and meet customer needs.
+ Enhance Network Experiences: Integrate AI-powered capabilities into networking solutions to optimize performance, enhance security, and deliver proactive insights for customers.
+ AI-Focused Technical Advocacy: Demonstrate and present AI-enabled features in Catalyst 9000 products to sales teams, customers, and partners at events, conferences, and Executive Briefing Centers (EBCs).
+ Content Creation with AI: Develop technical documents, presentations, and use cases that showcase the practical application of AI tools in network design and management.
+ Support Sales and Customers with AI Expertise: Provide technical guidance and AI-driven solutions through the TME team, ensuring field sales teams and customers can fully leverage AI capabilities.
+ Transform Customer Outcomes: Spearhead initiatives to deliver intelligent, AI-enhanced customer experiences, enabling dynamic, data-driven solutions that adapt to changing environments.
+ AI-Supported Secure Network Design: Promote AI-based architectures for secure, software-defined enterprise networks, focusing on segmentation, automation, and threat detection.
+ Collaborate Across Business Units: Work across organizational silos to align AI-driven product development and market strategies, ensuring cohesive innovation and execution.
+ Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and inspire a team of TMEs, fostering a culture of creativity, AI innovation, and customer-centricity.
+ Market and AI Insights: Analyze trends in AI, networking, and market demands to inform product strategy and uncover disruptive opportunities enabled by machine learning and automation.
+ Engage Key Customers: Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, positioning Catalyst 9000 and its AI capabilities as the leader in intelligent switching solutions.
**Who You’ll Work With**
You will collaborate with the Senior Director of Product Management and Technical Marketing for Enterprise Switching, as well as cross-functional teams from engineering, sales, and marketing. Your role will require close alignment with AI experts, product teams, and industry stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of AI tools into network solutions that transform the customer experience.

+ Exceptional leadership skills in Technical Marketing Engineering, with a track record of leading bold initiatives.
+ Solid understanding of campus networking technologies and their interplay with AI tools.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience in enterprise Technical Marketing and leadership roles with a focus on AI integration.

For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday (for non-exempt employees), plus a day off for their birthday. Non-Exempt new hires accrue up to 16 days of vacation time off each year, at a rate of 4.92 hours per pay period. Exempt new hires participate in Cisco’s flexible Vacation Time Off policy, which does not place a defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use, but is subject to availability and some business limitations. All new hires are eligible for Sick Time Off subject to Cisco’s Sick Time Off Policy and will have eighty (80) hours of sick time off provided on their hire date and on January 1st of each year thereafter. Up to 80 hours of unused sick time will be carried forward from one calendar year to the next such that the maximum number of sick time hours an employee may have available is 160 hours. Employees in Illinois have a unique time off program designed specifically with local requirements in mind. All employees also have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community.
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
