The Leader for International Public-Private Partnerships will be a key management level position.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (High Level):
This is a liaison position that will interface at the management level with Domestic (Japan) and International Operating Companies (OpCos), the United States (U.S.) Federal Agencies and related public-private partnership organizations within the U.S. Geography as well as Canada and Latin Americas (Central and South America) and other global regions as required. The role will work with development of information sharing partnerships with like-minded countries and be responsible for and work with multiple internal programs as needed to include:
+ Advise internal NTT senior leadership on best practices around cyber resiliency and support leadership responses to Japanese Government requests for information on various cyber topics
+ Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with NTT's Global CISO / Security and Trust Office (STO) goals and objectives
+ Analyze the global landscape, identify partnership opportunities, and set priorities for engagement including consideration for NTT’s role as a critical infrastructure provider in geopolitical issues
+ Chart a clear course of action to ensure the success and sustainability of international partnerships
+ Build and nurture relationships with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies (e.g., JCDC, Comm-ISAC), NGOs, businesses, and other relevant organizations
+ Working with NTT entities around the world to understand their current security needs as well as aligning those needs with known capabilities across NTT operating companies
+ Serve as a Liaison to the Washington DC Office supporting interactions between various US Federal Agencies, and support NTT Security Outreach Strategy
+ Serve as a liaison between the NTT Holdings STO and the NTTS Global CISO Team This position is a new position and will be further developed by the selected candidate under supervision of the NTTS Global CISO.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
+ Master’s degree in Information Security, similar discipline, or equivalent experience
+ Demonstrated experience and expertise in one or more of the following areas: Information Security; Product Development and Evaluation (Security Products and Services) Management Systems, ISO 27001:2013, and/or regulatory compliance assessments
+ Current security clearance, or willingness to obtain one via standard US Government processes
+ One or more certifications in Information Security are preferred (CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.)
+ Five or more years of experience successfully managing and developing project teams
+ Ten or more years of combined experience Data and Network Security, Threat Intelligence, Managed Security Services, Network Communication, Operational Technology, Application Development, Government Support (various Governments Worldwide), System and Process Governance
+ Ability to assess Information Security and/or Compliance Risks, understand business needs, and apply defined information security policies and architectures in order to develop effective deliverables
+ Understand the global cybersecurity landscape, including regional variations in regulations, policies, and threat actors
+ Familiarity with international cybersecurity organizations, initiatives, and collaboration frameworks
+ Strong relationship-building skills to engage and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector organizations, academia, and non-profit entities. Ability to understand and align with their interests and priorities
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex cybersecurity concepts to diverse audiences, including executives, policymakers, technical experts, and the general public
+ Ability to inspire and influence others towards collaborative action
+ Develop and execute strategic plans that align partnership goals with broader cybersecurity objectives
+ Ability to analyze complex issues, set priorities, and create a roadmap for achieving desired outcomes
+ Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work effectively in diverse cultural contexts
+ Understanding of cultural nuances and ability to navigate through cultural differences in international partnerships
+ Ability to translate technical topics into business language (and vice versa)
+ Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
+ Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, problem solving, oral and written communication skills
