Saint Luke’s in Kansas City is seeking a Lead Accomodation Partner to join our team. This role will give you the opportunity to lead complex accommodation case management and drive workplace solutions through collaboration, expert guidance, and direct impact on employee well-being.
Responsibilities: (insert 3-4 bullet points about the duties of the role)
Case Management & IP Facilitation
Manage complex accommodation requests (ADA, PWFA, religious, leave, job reassignment, medical separation)
Oversee full case lifecycle: intake to closure
Facilitate the Interactive Process (IP) in alignment with state/federal laws and internal policies
Team Leadership & Support
Train, mentor, and advise Disability & Leave Management (DLM) team members
Provide case support and oversight in absence of other partners
Balance team workloads and serve as overflow support
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with team members, leaders, HR, legal, vendors, and medical providers
Educate leaders and employees on accommodation processes and outcomes
Maintain regular contact with all parties throughout the IP
Accommodation Implementation
Analyze job functions and recommend accommodations (temporary/permanent)
Coordinate return-to-work and transitional work plans
Facilitate reassignment or recommend medical separation when needed
Monitor effectiveness of accommodations
Documentation & Compliance
Ensure accurate and timely case documentation in system
Prepare medical provider correspondence and collect necessary documentation
Support audit, compliance, and reporting efforts
Customer Experience & Communication
Provide timely, accurate, and compassionate responses
Serve as escalation point and trusted advisor to leaders and team members
Process Improvement & Adaptability
Contribute to workflow optimization and standard process development
Adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Use strong interpersonal and analytical skills to resolve conflicts and influence outcomes
