To learn more visit https://penske.jobs/benefits _Additional Benefits:_ • Paid Time Off • Medical Insurance • Dental Insurance • Vision Insurance • Life Insurance • 401K with company match • Associate Referral Program • $125 Boot Allowance after 90 Days of Employment (where applicable) Our associates also enjoy numerous associate discounts and opportunities to grow with the organization! **Major Responsibilities:** § Executes assignments, provides status updates, & project visibility to Operations Supervisor(s) § Lead a team of warehouse associates to achieve operational goals while championing safety and productivity § Operate forklifts, counterbalance, pallet jacks, and other equipment as needed § Stage and sort products; loads and unloads trailers § Ensuring system count matches physical inventory § Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system § Quality control: ensure no damaged products are sent out and identify damaged products when received § Complete daily logs and communicate with associates from other shifts or departments § All associate training as well as backfilling for supervisors § Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs § Reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be loaded/unloaded § Uses computer to enter data and maintains inventory records as needed § Opens and closes dock doors § Maintain a clean and safe work area § Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor. **Qualifications:** • 1-2 years of warehouse experience required • 1 year of supervisory experience preferred • High School diploma or equivalent preferred • Read, write, understand, and speak English • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint preferred • Ability to learn and use proprietary software required • Flexible to work overtime required • Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions • Ability to lead a team, ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexibility required, excellent with numbers, time management, and ability to execute are required. • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job. **Physical Requirements:** • The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
