Our 5 veterinarians, along with a highly skilled team of nurses, technicians, and client care advocates, have proudly practiced the highest level of medicine while also providing excellent customer care for the last 14 years. Our beautiful hospital offers 7 exam rooms (1 dedicated to felines), a large treatment area, separate surgical and dental suites, digital whole body and dental radiography, ultrasound and therapeutic cold laser, in-house IDEXX and pharmacy, and a separate glass-walled ICU. We take pride in a work-life balance and this includes being closed on the first Saturday of every month and 6 major holidays as well as no boarding and on-call. You will work alongside other skilled Vet Assistants, support our Credentialed Veterinary Technicians and DVMs in the daily flow of the hospital. Who You Are: You have at least 2 years of experience as a veterinary assistant You’re reliable, punctual, and have a solid work history You're comfortable working evenings and Saturdays You’re a natural leader with strong communication skills and a calm, solution-focused mindset You’re known for your teamwork, professionalism, and commitment to patient care What You’ll Do: Lead and support our technical team with compassion and clarity Help maintain efficient daily workflow and excellent medical standards Collaborate with DVMs, CSRs, and leadership to ensure the hospital runs smoothly Provide hands-on training, coaching, and real-time feedback to your team Participate in hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and daily huddles Jump in where needed on technical tasks including anesthesia, phlebotomy, dental procedures, radiology, and more What You’ll Bring: Solid technical knowledge and skills across all areas of patient care Confidence in guiding others, solving problems, and handling tough situations with grace Familiarity with PIMs systems, online pharmacy platforms, and inventory management A deep understanding of veterinary medicine, safety standards, and compliance This Role Reports To: Hospital Manager & Lead DVM You’ll Supervise: Our Technical Team If you’re looking to grow your career, make a difference, and lead a supportive, tight-knit team then we’d love to meet you.
