**Job Title:** Lead Veterinary Surgeon **Location:** Village Vets, Hampstead Hospital, London **Role type:** Permanent **Salary:** From £75,000 per annum, depending on experience. **Hours:** Full-time 42 hours per week. 4-day week and 1 in 4 full weekends with time back in lieu. **Join Village Vet Hampstead as a Lead Vet and play a pivotal role in shaping outstanding veterinary care!** You’ll be part of a passionate team committed to delivering the highest standards of service and outcomes for our patients and clients. In this leadership role, you’ll line manage a team of 4 vets within a wider group of 12, including 2 fellow Lead Vets, a Clinical Director, and our dedicated night team. This position offers a balanced mix of clinical and protected management time, allowing you to lead by example while supporting team development and practice performance. You’ll champion clinical excellence, foster a collaborative and respectful culture, and ensure exceptional patient care through empathetic leadership. **Working hours** : Full-time across a 4-day week, including 1 in 4 full weekends. Additionally, Hampstead sees a very high emergency caseload and would be a great environment to develop an interest in this area.
