Overall Purpose: Manage vendor performance and relationships by developing strategies, negotiating contracts, and ensuring critical delivery, quality, and alignment with organizational goals. Bring tactical operational experience, and a strategic transformation-driven mindset.
**Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:**
• Establish and Monitor Quality Systems: Develop and implement Quality Management Systems (QMS) to monitor and manage vendor performance, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with contractual terms.
• Analyze and Report Vendor Performance: Publish monthly performance reports and Executive Dashboards, providing analysis and subject matter expertise to inform decision-making.
• Lead Performance Reviews and Corrective Actions: Conduct monthly performance meetings with suppliers to discuss gaps, establish corrective action plans, and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with Sourcing and Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with sourcing leads and cross-functional teams to ensure performance measures align with supplier contracts and support organizational goals.
• Provide Problem-Solving and Strategic Insights: Identify and escalate critical performance issues, provide solutions to complex problems, and contribute to the development of organizational goals and objectives.
**Job Contribution** : An experienced professional, recognized as an expert, creatively resolving complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge. **Education/Experience:** Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
