Systems Management and Maintenance Strategy:
Oversee the maintenance, operation, and lifecycle management of critical airport systems.
Ensure systems are operationally ready 24/7 with minimal downtime.
Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans.
Coordinate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and service providers for timely maintenance.
Ensure the serviceability of airport systems as per Concession Agreement (CA) requirements. Maintain system availability at optimal levels to support seamless operations.
Budget Management and resource allocation: .
Assist in preparing budgets for system maintenance and upgrades, ensuring alignment with overall airport operational goals.
Monitor expenditures and ensure cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high service levels.
Ensure the availability of spare parts, tools, and equipment for smooth operations. Execute OPEX and CAPEX works as per the Annual Operating Plan.
Spare & Inventory Management:
Maintain all-time availability of critical spares for BHS, PBB, and other systems.
Optimize inventory levels to minimize costs while avoiding downtime.
Contract & Vendor Management:
Monitor vendor performance and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and response times.
Generate Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and process vendor billing on time for maintenance services.
Develop and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and establish robust SLA monitoring processes.
Troubleshooting and Support:
Provide technical leadership during critical system failures or emergencies, guiding the team in troubleshooting and resolution.
Act as a point of escalation for technical issues, coordinating with other airport departments as necessary for timely resolution.
Analyze incident reports, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Participate in initiatives focused on process excellence, cost reduction, energy savings, and 5S implementation.
Address audit points and implement corrective measures.
Training & Development:
Ensure contractors' staff are adequately trained to meet operational and safety requirements.
Conduct training sessions and maintain skill enhancement programs.
Special Projects:
Lead and support projects for modernization, efficiency improvement, and operational excellence.
Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
Safety Oversight and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local regulations, airport policies, and industry best practices related to airport systems and maintenance activities.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of airport-specific and global regulatory standards, including those related to security, safety, and sustainability.
Develop and implement risk management strategies and contribute to the safety and emergency protocols related to airport systems
Monitor operational compliance as per CA, ICAO, DGCA, and BCAS requirements.
Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, including weights and measures standards and other applicable regulations.
