JOB SUMMARY

Lead highly complex mechanical hardware designs for customer or innovation projects.  Responsible for ensuring technical milestones are achieved.  Responsible for guiding other team members' designs and leads technical design reviews.  Ensures specification requirements input and design outputs align.   This engineer will have demonstrated experience at releasing products into a production environment.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical/Thermal Engineering and with +8 years experience in product design(Server, PC and/or Consumer Electronics a plus) Communication capability to lead design proposal, presentation, issue triage and value diversityAbility of using 3D CAD and FloTherm thermal simulation toolsFamiliar with thermal and acoustic evaluation, validation and issue investigationComponent level and system level analyses, experimentation, and design principles, thermal control experienceFundamental/advanced technology experience: heat pipes, vapor chambers, heatsinks, thermal interface materials, fans, liquid cooling, heat exchangers
