Work Experience
8+ years of experience in testing and validating electromechanical components, with a focus on relays, contactors, MCBs, and other low-voltage switchgearThorough understanding of international standards and regulations governing the testing of electromechanical devicesProficient in developing and executing comprehensive testing plans, including the identification of boundary conditions and worst-case scenariosExperienced in executing complex test procedures and creating detailed test reportsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret test results and identify areas for improvementExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsStrong influencing skills, strong communication skills with good command of English, and demonstrated analytical skillsHighly dynamic, proactive and motivated, self-motivated, open mindedNeed to travel on occasionally within India and abroadFamiliarity with project management methodologies and toolsStrong technical writing and presentation skills
Minimum Qualifications / Professional Experience:
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Electrical / Electronic / Electromechanical or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent8+ years of experience in testing and validating electromechanical components, with a focus on relays, contactors, MCBs, and other low-voltage switchgearResponsibilities:
Experience in verification and Validation of Low voltage switchgear products like Relays or similar productsStrong knowledge on Lab instruments like Power source, Oscilloscope, Data loggers etcDevelop comprehensive testing and validation plans for new and existing electromechanical componentsIdentify and document boundary conditions and worst-case scenarios to ensure thorough testingOversee the execution of testing and analyze results to identify potential issues or areas for improvementCreate detailed test reports documenting test procedures, results, and recommendationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality, to ensure seamless integration of testing requirementsStay up to date with the latest industry standards and regulations, and ensure compliance throughout the testing processMentor and train junior testing engineers to build a strong, knowledgeable teamProvide detailed reports and recommendations to management on the performance and reliability of tested componentsWork Experience
