**Job Responsibilities:**
* Leads and participates in cross-functional teams to define and implement test automation strategies for repetitive tasks, optimizing test coverage and reducing manual effort.
* Monitors and analyzes testing process metrics (e.g., defect identification rates, test execution time) to identify areas for improvement and propose data-driven solutions for continuous improvement, working under limited supervision.
* Develops and implements comprehensive test strategies for complex systems, ensuring alignment with project objectives, system requirements, and industry best practices.
* Leads and oversees the validation efforts for assigned system testing projects, driving adherence to internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.
* Influences product design by proactively identifying potential testability issues and proposing solutions to optimize testing methodologies, enhancing overall system quality and efficiency.
* Designs and executes advanced test scenarios, including performance, security, and compatibility testing, to comprehensively evaluate system behavior under various conditions.
* Develops and maintains a deep understanding of Philips' testing frameworks and tools, selecting and applying the most effective tools for complex system testing needs.
* Mentors and guides junior and mid-level test engineers on test case design, test execution techniques, and best practices in system testing.
* Develops and delivers training sessions to share knowledge and best practices in system testing methodologies with the broader engineering team.
* Serves as a technical expert within the Systems Engineering department, providing guidance and support on complex testing challenges and advising on test strategy for new projects.
**Minimum required Education & Experience:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
+ 15+ years of experience in testing, including test strategy and planning.
+ Strong manual testing expertise; prior automation testing experience preferred.
+ Experience in performance, reliability, and compatibility testing.
+ Familiarity with healthcare industry standards and regulatory submissions.
+ Proficiency in tools like ALM, PTC, TFS, and configuration management systems.
+ Programming knowledge (preferably C#); exposure to BDD, Gherkin, SpecFlow is a plus.
+ Strong understanding of defect management and test design methodologies.
+ Experience working in SAFe Agile environments.
**Preferred Experience:**
+ Experience in the healthcare domain, especially with interoperability standards.
+ Exposure to test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
+ Knowledge of automation feasibility analysis and automation strategy development.
**Preferred Certification:**
Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)

**How we work together**
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
