**Job Title: Lead Technician** **Job Description** As a Lead Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing the setup and operation of various machinery and equipment, ensuring efficient production processes. You will play a key role in supervising a team of technicians and maintaining high-quality standards in a dynamic manufacturing environment. **Responsibilities** + Perform complete setup and changeovers on filling, labeling, and coding equipment. + Install tooling, adjust guides/nozzles, mount film/label rolls, and configure print files. + Conduct line clearance and verify all components match batch startup checklists. + Operate and monitor filling, capping, crimping, and in-line labeling modules. + Make mechanical and electronic adjustments to maintain speed and product quality. + Address line stoppages and escalate larger issues when necessary. + Log production data including output, downtime, and machine settings. + Set up label rolls, calibrate sensors, and adjust label positions. + Maintain label application accuracy and resolve jams or skew issues. + Supervise and coordinate a small team of technicians on shift. + Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to SOPs and safety protocols. + Train technicians on machine operation, changeovers, quality checks, and troubleshooting. + Perform routine quality checks for fill volume, torque, seal integrity, labeling accuracy, and print clarity. + Maintain full compliance with GMP, SOPs, batch documentation, and audit requirements. + Perform minor preventative maintenance: lubrication, cleaning, minor part replacements. **Essential Skills** + Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform changeovers and troubleshooting. + Experience operating multi-equipment packaging or filling lines. + Understanding of GMP, quality checks, and production documentation. + Proven experience supervising, training, or coordinating technical staff. + Strong communication and organizational skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team. + Strong decision-making and conflict-resolution skills. + Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. + Process-driven mindset to optimize manufacturing operations. + Quick to troubleshoot issues and adapt to new technologies. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy competitive base compensation, a bonus program, and paid time off.
