What you’ll do:
The Senior Project Manager will work as part of a dedicated project management team driving a large-scale program at AT&T. This role focuses on managing assigned workstreams, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful execution of project deliverables. In addition, the candidate will provide leadership and guidance to other project managers within the team, fostering collaboration and consistency across projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Manage projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget compliance.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with development teams locally and internationally to ensure seamless execution and integration.Planning & Execution: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets; monitor progress and mitigate risks.Strategic Influence: Contribute to product strategy and advocate for innovative, forward-thinking solutions.Process Optimization: Continuously improve project management methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear, consistent updates on project status, risks, and milestones to all stakeholders.What you’ll need:
Experience: Minimum 5+ years in project management, including significant experience in both delivery and R&D environments.Leadership: Proven ability to lead and coordinate diverse roles within a large program, including project managers and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration across all workstreams.Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.Team Management: Demonstrated success in managing and motivating development teams and project managers to achieve high performance.Cultural Awareness: Experience working with U.S. IL & IN -based teams; flexibility to accommodate late working hours for cross-time-zone coordination.Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.Location: Dallas, TexasWhat you’ll bring:
