What is the opportunity?
This opportunity allows you to play a key role in managing end-user assets across the Caribbean, throughout the IT asset management (ITAM) lifecycle and in providing technical end-user support for the Caribbean Technology Unit based in Trinidad & Tobago and second-level deskside and mobility support across all jurisdictions.
The Lead Technical Analyst will lead a team to deliver these services, and through analysis of the asset footprint, optimize assets, enhance efficiency, and develop plans to improve future effectiveness throughout the ITAM lifecycle. This extends to seeking out opportunities to gain operational and cost efficiencies through reviews of processes, emerging technology, and contracts where applicable.
What will you do?
Oversee department’s administrative, operational, and customer support tasks, through Enterprise tools, to support delivery of an enhanced client experience.Work with Enterprise Asset Management and Mobility teams, and approved asset and mobility vendors to ensure services are delivered and meet quality standards.Conduct quarterly execution assurance checks on unit’s asset management practices across the region and provide management-level reporting of audit results.Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to support Enterprise and Caribbean IT asset management and to improve productivity, tools, processes, and services.Collaborate with cross-pillar and cross-jurisdictional teams to provide an accurate and comprehensive view of all end user IT assets to enable technology and business decisions, and capture data and conduct data analysis to inform IT strategy.Contribute to the development of initiative plans and act as lead for implementation of new services, within unit and for improvements throughout the IT Asset Management lifecycle, taking ownership and driving to deliver on assigned initiatives/tasks within established timelines.Collaborate, and act as consultant, with cross-pillar technical and business teams to resolve issues and identify and deliver end-user asset solutions in support of business objectives.Identify risks or potential problems that could affect implementation of infrastructure/solutions within the deskside, mobility and asset management areas, and identify mitigating opportunities and solutions.What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science/Studies or Information Technology or equivalent combination of experience and training2+ years of management experience and demonstrated leadership acumen2+ years of experience in IT Asset Management throughout the IT asset lifecycle7 years of IT experience with at least 4 years’ work experience in a technical support environment with a solid understanding of multiple hardware and software platforms and configurations.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders at various levels within RBCAnalytical, systematic, logical, and innovative thinkerNice to have
