Are you ready to go beyond? **What You Will Do** Pratt and Whitney is seeking a candidate to join our Product Definition team in Mechanical Systems, Externals and Nacelles (MSEN) department. The candidate will have the opportunity to create/maintain parametric solid models and associated drawings related to externals components such as (Tubes, Brackets, Fittings, Machines Mounts) etc., per Product Definition standard work. This position requires you to work in a secured room. + The creation of highly complex 3D part models in NX/CAD software under moderate supervision. + The creation of highly complex 2D drawings and/or 3D Model Based Definition (MBD) under moderate supervision. + The creation of Engineering changes, Drawings per (Tube, Brackets, Fittings, mounts) specs, Development to Production Drawings, Reoperation Drawings among others. + The creation of engineering documentation that aids in the release/revision of engineering drawings. + Work closely with Designers to incorporate their design intent into the model and drawings. + Leads in orienting, training, assigning and/or checking the work. + English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English. + Based on business needs, the incumbent may be required to support other duties/functions within the company and have availability to travel up to 10% domestically. **Qualifications You Must Have** + AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with 8 years of experience in drafting. **Qualifications We Prefer** + Successful completion of a 3D parametric solid modeling course. + 3 years with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing preferred (ASME Y14.5). + 3 years of experience with NX/CAD and Teamcenter/NX Manager tools and processes. + Active secret clearance **What We Offer:** + Employee Scholar Program **Learn More & Apply Now!** + Mechanical Systems, Externals, and Nacelles Engineering is responsible for the design, development and in service support of power transmission systems, bearing compartment and rotor support design and analysis, oil and thermal management systems, engine externals packaging and architecture, as well as nacelles for commercial and military engine models. **What Is My Role Type:** In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work.
