Starbucks is seeking a seasoned systems analyst lead to drive the strategic design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide HR technology solutions. This senior-level professional role will focus on SAP SuccessFactors, with deep expertise required in Employee Central, Compensation, and Recruiting/Onboarding modules.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in systems integration, data analytics and reporting, work with shared services to support tickets and provide end-to-end SuccessFactors security frameworks support. The lead analyst will serve as a trusted advisor to both HR and IT leadership. This role demands a blend of technical proficiency, strategic thinking, and leadership capability to deliver scalable and effective solutions that support Starbucks' global workforce.

As a systems analyst lead – SAP SuccessFactors, you will…

Serve as SME and lead authority on SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, with strong knowledge of related modules (ECP, Compensation, Recruiting/Onboarding, Talent, Reporting).Lead end-to-end solution design, configuration, and deployment of SuccessFactors modules aligned with business and compliance needs.Drive continuous improvement and introduce new use cases for Core HR processes.Support and manage integrations within and outside of SuccessFactors, ensuring seamless data flow.

Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in Reporting, Workflows, Events/Event Reason derivations, Position Management, Data Models, RBP, and 

Business Rules

Lead design and implementation of integrations with systems like SAP ECC, ECP, other payroll, and benefits platforms.Develop advanced reports and dashboards using tools such as Story reports, SAP Analytics Cloud, Workforce Analytics, and SQL.Define and enforce security roles and data access protocols (RBP), ensuring compliance with regulations like GDPR and HIPAA.Translate complex business requirements into scalable system designs and configuration specifications.Mentor and lead other team members and lead cross-functional teams through new projects Contribute to HR technology strategy and roadmap planning, maintaining strong relationships with SAP and implementation partners.

We’d love to hear from people with:

10+ years of experience in a systems analyst role in enterprise HR technology, with at least 8+ years hands on experience in SAP Employee Central SuccessFactors module.Proven leadership in implementing and supporting Employee Central, Compensation, Payroll, and Recruiting/Onboarding modules.Hands on leader on the SF implementation Team and worked as solutions architect on SF Implementation Projects for Employee Central (EC Certification is preferred)Big Four experience is key and will be preferredStrong expertise in SAP integrations, reporting tools, and security frameworks is a plusDeep understanding of agile/scrum methodologies and enterprise architecture principlesExcellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, or related field is strongly preferred

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.  For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.  At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
