Lead Systems Administrator (Windows) (Government)

The AT&T will provide comprehensive Information Technology Infrastructure Support Services to the US Navy, delivering asset management, network operations, system design and configuration, and facility support to ensure effective day-to-day operations at several Naval Bases. AT&T has an opening for a Lead Systems Administrator (Windows) to provide enterprise-level support for the US Navy. The position will lead efforts in system performance monitoring, backup and recovery process, and cross-functional collaboration with engineers and cybersecurity teams to maintain compliance and mission readiness. **Job Duties/Responsibilities:** + Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Windows-based server and desktop environments across an organization. + Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core Windows services to ensure secure and efficient operations. + Leads efforts to deploy and configure servers, monitor system performance, and apply patches and updates to maintain system integrity and compliance. + Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine tasks, manage backup and recovery processes, and ensure high availability of critical systems. + Collaborate with network engineers, cybersecurity teams, and application support staff to ensure seamless integration and secure operations across the IT infrastructure. + Planning and execute system upgrades, migrations, and new deployments, often leading cross-functional teams through these initiatives. + Document system configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions, as well as mentoring junior administrators and providing guidance on best practices. + Maintain a stable, secure, and scalable IT infrastructure. **Required Clearance:** TS/SCI (#tssci) **Required Qualifications:** + 6 years of professional work and leadership experience in relation to Windows system administration of networks and software systems. + Experience in system backup/recovery, basic software management, security and library management, installation and configuration of hardware, operating systems and COTS software, operating computer systems in different operating environments, sizing, performance, tuning, hardware/software /network trouble shooting and resource allocation. + Experience in maintaining proficiency on major network security tools such as, firewalls. + Experience developing system specifications and performing market research procurement tasks. + Experience with different network protocols including TCP/IP. + Experience of computing and networking vulnerabilities, and attach and latest detect methods. + Required Certification: IAT Level II Our Lead Systems Administrator (Windows) earn between $100,000 - $170,000.
