Lead System Architect - Cloud Hybrid Platforms

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead System Architect who is responsible for Solution Architecture and Governance across multi-cloud hybrid platforms and foundational capabilities.

The CTO Architecture team focuses on driving product direction through the creation of solution architectures and archetypes. This role is accountable for application portfolio management and lifecycle management of CTO applications as well as leading cross functional teams in creating business value solutions and influencing executives as well as engineers. This role will work in a challenging, fast paced, and highly technical environment.

In this role, you will:

Acts as a subject matter expert to the organization for cloud architectureAct as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence cloud builder developer experience for highly complex business and technical needs across multiple groupsLead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinkingTranslate advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutionsProvide vision, direction, and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutionsMaintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommend innovations that enhance operations or provide a competitive advantage to the organizationStrategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadershipDevelopment and Maintenance of architecture solutions such as reference architecture, white paper, product strategy, product to services roadmapAdvocate and define architectural vision for Wells Fargo's environmentProvides leadership and mentoring to Architects and engineers to grow architecture talentLead strategic planning and architectural planning for infrastructure technologies

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Systems Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education5+ years of infrastructure architecture experience3+ years of experience researching new technologies, performing proof-of-concepts, and recommending solutions

Desired Qualifications:

Cloud specific certifications, e.g. AWS Solution Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud ArchitectProven track record in enabling public and private cloud enablersDemonstrable experience in Data Center migration and related toolingHands on knowledge with public cloud platform enablement in AWS, Google Cloud and AzureHands on experience with tooling to enable large scale data center migrations to Azure, GCP, AWS and Private Cloud Kubernetes such as OpenShift Container PlatformFamiliar and hands-on experience with infrastructure as code via CI/CD and automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, PackerStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsExperience working in an agile, product-oriented structureAbility to interact with all levels with the organizationStrong comprehension within the network, compute, storage and database domains
