Overview **Position contingent upon contract award** SOS International LLC (SOSi) is looking for a Lead System Administrator to manage and optimize internal systems forour government customer. This role ensures system performance, security, and compliance to support secure, efficient call center operations handling sensitive UAC data. Essential Job Duties Monitor and configure internal systems (e.g., databases, switchboard, telephony, instant messaging/VOIP) for optimum performance. Oversee the system administration team, providing leadership and coordination. Offer troubleshooting assistance, diagnosing and resolving complex system issues. Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and service records. Ensure compliance with security standards (e.g., ATO process, FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, FIPS 140-2 encryption, PII/CUI protection). Manage interconnections (e.g., ISA), vulnerability scanning, configuration management, and contingency planning/testing. Support asset management, boundary protection, and incident response reporting. Coordinate with ACF OCIO for intake requests, SSP, SAP/SAR, POA&M, and E-Authentication. Maintain redundancy for reliability (e.g., backup systems, failover protocols) and prevent downtime. Ensure systems handle 25,000+ calls/month, real-time reporting, and secure data exports. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. At least five (5) years of experience in system administration, including network management and cybersecurity. Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent. Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred). Ability to pass ORR-required background investigations and updates every five years. Compliance with prohibited hiring policies. Completion of annual HHS/ACF security and privacy training, role-based training, and RoB acknowledgment. Availability for 24/7/365 support, including on-call for crises. Preferred Qualifications Experience with federal systems (e.g., UAC Portal) and tools like SCAP-compliant scanners. Knowledge of records management (e.g., 36 CFR 1236) and electronic records metadata. Work Environment Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
