We are looking for a dedicated Lead Surg Svcs Support Aide like you to be a part of our team. **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Surgical Services Support Aide Lead, under the direction of supervisor or other member of the management team is responsible for ensuring that the daily operations of the Surgical Service Support team are efficient and effective. The Lead Aide is responsible for providing leadership and direction to other team members, ensuring teamwork among the group, and validating completion of all required daily duties among the team members. The Lead Aide will also participate in a direct operational role by ensuring that the surgical services team has access to supplies/instrumentation in a timely manner; provide efficient and customer focused serviced to Perioperative Services team including leadership, medical staff, and patients/visitors. Provides customer focused service to the department for accurate and efficient surgical services supply support. The highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation of OR rooms is always maintained. Coordinates assignments, tasks, and responsibilities to ensure fairness. Monitors team for completion of assignments. + Rounds throughout the day to ensure completion of work among the team. Provides coaching when deficits are noted. Documents coaching appropriately. + Responsible for ensuring terminal clean log is completed daily and is within regulatory compliance guidelines. + Leads by example including strong work ethic, good sense of teamwork and partnership, and upholding the highest professional standards. + Assists with patient movement to/from surgical areas as directed by the RN. Ensures proper patient identification before all movements. + Answers call lights in a timely manner. + Completes daily stocking of all rooms, cleaning of workstations, organization of equipment, and supplies. + Responsible for room turnover in all Operating Rooms and surgical suites to include, but not limited to, mopping, cleaning any contaminants, removal of trash and other waste, and ensuring that surgical suite is physically ready for the next patient **Qualifications:** + High School diploma or equivalent required + Previous supervisory experience required. + Recent six (6) months-housekeeping experience in an acute care hospital or surgery center is preferred + Current BLS, Current employees have 30 days to acquire after hire Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center (https://sunrisehospital.com) provides Las Vegas and the Southwest region with high-quality, advanced healthcare services.
