Our client, a nationally recognized construction management firm is seeking a Lead Superintendent to oversee civil and commercial scopes on a major healthcare project. This role is critical to the success of a $4 billion, six-year build, and will be based full-time on the job site. The position offers a comprehensive relocation package for qualified candidates across the U.S.

 

What Is the Job?

Lead daily coordination of trade contractors and subcontractors to ensure high-quality work and adherence to schedule Develop and communicate field work plans, including adjustments and changes Maintain deep knowledge of contract documents to anticipate and resolve issues proactively Ensure all necessary permits are secured and verified Foster trust and credibility with owners, contractors, and union representatives Serve as the primary safety lead on-site, enforcing compliance and promoting a safety-first culture Conduct regular contractor meetings and maintain daily documentation using Procore Manage and update project schedules, implementing contingency plans as needed Oversee jobsite logistics and quality control measures Resolve jurisdictional disputes and maintain a fair, collaborative work environment

 

What is Needed?

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field 7–10 years of experience as a superintendent on commercial or industrial projects valued at $15 million or more Proven ability to lead entire project scopes or major components independently Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Primavera, and CMiC preferred Deep understanding of construction documents, methods, materials, and cost control OSHA 30-hour certification required Demonstrated commitment to safety and ability to lead an incident-free jobsite culture
