Essential Responsibilities

Analysis of structures, including concrete and steel, use of finite element method analyses.Working with the following codes preferred: ASCE 43, ASCE 4, ACI 349 & 318, ASCE 7, IBC, and AISC N690, Steel Construction Manual and Seismic Design Manual.

Qualifications / Requirements

Proficiency in the Seismic structural analysesProficiency in ANSYS APDL is required. With the ability to build detailed models, perform static and seismic runs, and develop or modify post-processing scriptsProficiency in LS-Dyna is a preferredComputer programing skills (e.g. Matlab, or Python) is not required, but preferred.Proficiency in concrete, steel and composite structures analysis and designAISC/ N690 experience is a preferred
