Lead Specialist Operational EHS - Occupational Health Physician

Contributes to developing the department’s annual operational plan by integrating occupational health priorities and clinical oversight, while identifying opportunities to strengthen medical programs, compliance processes, and health‑related procedures.

As an Occupational Health Physician, you will be responsible for:

Acting as the Occupational Health Physician Coordinator and technical responsible professional, in accordance with the duties defined by the Federal and Regional Medical Councils, ensuring compliance with the applicable Regulatory Standards of the Ministry of Labor for the establishment and departments under your responsibility.Providing technical support to managers and other leaders in the implementation of Occupational Health procedures, monitoring actions and performance to ensure achievement of goals and completion of corresponding action plans.Supporting the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager in achieving the objectives and targets established by the organization.Managing occupational risks at the establishment and maintaining the Occupational Health Medical Control Program (PCMSO) in accordance with Regulatory Standard NR‑7 and other applicable health and sanitary regulations.Conducting visits and inspections at company facilities, including bases located in Rio de Janeiro and Niterói.Exercising and promoting the workers’ authority to Stop Unsafe Work.Contributing as a team member to new project management and management of change processes.Participating in internal and client meetings and audits, including accompanying onboard activities when required.Supporting the analysis of scope and trends related to incidents and events within the supported management area.Ensuring proper recording, communication, and analysis of incidents and accidents occurring within the supported operations.Completing mandatory training assigned to the role, as defined in the company’s training matrix.Delivering assigned tasks within required deadlines in accordance with the Quality and HSE management systems.Coordinating the occupational nursing and outsourced medical support teams, monitoring compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements.Following up on employees on medical leave through the Social Security system (INSS), advising the organization on the best occupational strategies.Providing emergency support for the onsite clinic, including remote assistance by phone when necessary.Coordinating and implementing health and wellness campaigns for local teams.

To be successful in this role you will:

Holding a medical degree in any specialty, with a specialization in Occupational Medicine and valid registration with CREMERJBringing at least 4 years of experience working as an Occupational Health PhysicianBringing a minimum of 2 years of experience supporting HSE management in service contracts within the Oil & Gas sectorDemonstrating intermediate proficiency in EnglishApplying solid knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental legislation, standards, and procedures
