Job Description:
Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions that align with both business and technical objectives. Provide technical leadership and facilitate critical design decisions in close collaboration with Enterprise Architects, System Engineers, and other key stakeholders.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Solution Design and Component Specification: Define high-level solutions with customers, stakeholders, and development teams. Determine primary components and subsystems, analyze technical trade-offs, and identify key interfaces and collaborations. Define both functional and non-functional requirements (NFRs) at a high level.
Technical and Architectural Vision: Create and maintain a unified technical and architectural vision for the entire solution, ensuring overall alignment rather than focusing solely on individual components.
Architectural Alignment: Collaborate with portfolio stakeholders, customers, Enterprise Architects, System Engineers, and development teams to ensure architectural direction is consistent and aligned with strategic goals.
Implementation Strategy and Technical Foundation: Develop an incremental implementation strategy and establish a strong technical foundation (architectural runway), preserving flexibility through abstraction and generalization.
Common Practices and Reuse: Advocate for the adoption of common technologies, design practices, and infrastructure. Facilitate the reuse of code, components, and proven patterns, and influence the adoption of standard modeling, design, and coding practices across teams.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required.
