Lead Software JAVA Engineer

We are recruiting a Java FullStack Lead Software Engineer to join our Performance Testing Engineering team. You will produce high-quality and reliable code that our customers can rely on to validate their critical applications under stress.

All our employees must have strong analytical and object programming skills and a taste for understanding the most complex problems induced by web developments on various systems and network infrastructures.

Responsibilities

Collaborate within and across the teams to design and develop a fit-for-purpose solution.

Work closely with product management & UX to design great experiences for our users and align with business goals.

Participate in all steps of the methodology (refinements, planning, design, development, testing, and deployments) to complete the Sprints.

Ensure compliance with development procedures and methods.

Ensure compliance with the quality level of developments.

Foster the clean coding practises

Observe emerging trends and gain practical experience

Master the existing tools landscape

Develop a strong relationship with the architects team

Review the code of your teammates and actively share your knowledge.

Develop and express clear opinions on how things should be done.

Coach less experienced engineers and help them to implement best practices

Run experiments to figure out the fit of new technologies, approaches, or patterns.

Develop/review/implement technical designs for next-gen Tricentis products.

Qualifications

8+ years of software development experience in Java

Knowledge of web technologies, Java JEE application server(s), and database(s) in a production context

Front-end technology experience (any of these: React, Vue, Angular)

Practice with virtualization (Docker, Kube, Openshift)

Strong general computer literacy (systems, architectures, and networks).

Teamwork, autonomy, personal involvement, rigor, and dynamism

If you’ve got some of these skills, even better:

Deployment on a cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Experience with Cloud Operations (monitoring, observability, logging, …)

Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, ...)

Knowledge of Python / AI

Knowledge of Agile methodology (SCRUM)

Experience with DevOps pipelines

Experience in Testing Automation
