Lead Software Engineer (Ruby)

This senior leadership role combines advanced frontend development expertise with system architecture skills to enhance loan acquisition platforms.
Working in a hybrid model from Baltimore, MD, Evansville, IN or Irving, TX, you'll drive modernization initiatives while providing technical guidance to engineering teams.
**Responsibilities**
+ Design scalable frontend architectures using Angular, JavaScript, and Ruby on Rails
+ Lead migration from legacy systems to modern cloud-native solutions (AWS/Kubernetes)
+ Develop and optimize GraphQL APIs for efficient data flow
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and backend teams
+ Provide technical mentorship while promoting engineering best practices
+ Enhance loan acquisition systems to improve lead generation and conversion
**Requirements**
+ 10+ years of software engineering experience with frontend architecture focus
+ Strong proficiency in Angular, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, GraphQL
+ Demonstrated success modernizing legacy systems to cloud environments
+ Experience with loan acquisition platforms and customer engagement strategies
+ Technical leadership capabilities with excellent communication skills
**Nice to have**
+ AWS certification
+ Docker/Kubernetes orchestration experience
+ CI/CD implementation knowledge
+ Agile development background
