Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer

In this role, you will:

Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impactAct as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplinesDesign, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programsReview and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factorsMake decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiativesCollaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goalsLead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in Java, J2EE Spring Boot, Micro ServicesExperience in JDK11+ is mustCloud based software development - AWS or AzureDomain experience in Capital Markets / Investment bankingMongoDB or other NoSQL databasesKafka or other event driven softwareKubernetesJunit, Selenium, Qmetry or other Automation frameworks that support BDD constructsTomcat Application Server, Netty or WeblogicMaven, Gradle or any other build framework

Job Expectations:

Individual Contributor role in Debt Capital Market technology team in IndiDeliver technology solutions leveraging the suite of application in DCM areCollaborate effectively with all the stakeholders including DCM business teams, technology, QA and support teamFollow EASP process diligently during Production releasesEnsure CI/CD pipeline is enabled across the DCM suite of applications and followed diligentlyCoordinate well with the support team to ensure production outages are handled effectively within the stipulated SLAsLook for opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization of the DCM suite of applications
