As a Lead  Software Engineer Iat JPMorganChase within the CORPORATE SECTOR - Finance Tech space you serve as a seasoned member of the Corporate & Investment Bank Treasury Tech (CIBT)  team to design and deliver the next generation buildout of a cloud native liquidity risk (LRI) management platform for JPMC.
 

Job responsibilities

 

Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsDevelops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by othersIdentifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systemsLeads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architectureLeads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies

 

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

 

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experienceStrong hands-on expertise with React.Knowledge of Cloud and hands on experience Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityProficiency in automation and continuous delivery methodsProficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life CycleAbility to work with delivery focused approach, work without direction and exhibit role of an Individual ContributorAdvanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityDemonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systemsPractical cloud native experienceHands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFamiliarity with modern big data technologies such as Hadoop, sparkExposure to cloud technologies preferably AWS AWS (any certifications on AWS would be beneficial)
