Lead Software Engineer

Lead Software Engineer for Detroit, MI to lead projects to design, develop & support custom software applications and systems; maintain responsibility for technical quality, on-time delivery & resources; define unit testing strategies; lead resolution of software issues; mentor & train junior team members; lead research & proof-of-concept activities for new technologies; contribute to technology plan development; participate in complete software development lifecycle. Requires Bachelor’s in C.S. or closely related field. Will accept a single degree or any combination of degrees, diplomas, professional credentials, or professional experience determined to be equivalent by a qualified evaluation service. Position also requires 4 yrs experience in software engineering position(s): developing Microsoft BizTalk Server and/or related middleware system components; working with Azure, OCI and/or GCP cloud platforms; developing Oracle Fusion Supply Chain & Finance modules, including Procurement, Order Management, Shipments, Pricing, AR, AP, Invoicing, Cash Management, General Ledger, and Receipts; building RESTful APIs; writing code in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, C# and/or .NET Core; applying Object Oriented, Functional and/or Dependency Injection programming paradigms; using source control technologies, including Git, to manage code repositories; developing instrumentation strategies for software components to enable monitoring & troubleshooting; writing code for embedded systems with preemptive, multi-tasking RTOS for custom extensions & integration solutions; and developing ANSI X12 EDI integrations for supply chain & finance services.
