Job Description

DUTIES:                               Provide technical leadership in designing and developing ad server software and architecture in an Agile development environment using Golang, Python, Shell, JavaScript, and Yaml; architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, CircleCI, AWS Codepipeline, and Argo CD; perform containerization using Docker and Kubernetes; utilize cloud-based services, including AWS; provision Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation; perform version control using GitHub; utilize security protocols and tools including vulnerability scanning, static code analysis, and secrets management; support applications under development and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases; analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications; document all development activity; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements; and guide and mentor junior-level engineers. Position is eligible to work remotely within normal commuting distance of the worksite.

REQUIREMENTS:             Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and seven (7) years of experience developing software and architecture in an Agile development environment using Python, Shell, and JavaScript; architecting and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins; performing containerization using Docker and Kubernetes; provisioning Infrastructure as Code using Terraform; of which five (5) years of experience includes performing version control using GitHub; utilizing security protocols and tools including vulnerability scanning, static code analysis, and secrets management; using Yaml; of which three (3) years include developing ad server software; utilizing cloud-based services, including AWS; and using Golang, AWS Codepipeline, Argo CD, and AWS CloudFormation.
