Location/Division Specific Information:

This position is focused on service delivery excellence for Unity Lab Services, specifically supporting Process Development, Technical Development, Manufacturing, and QC. As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring detailed operations and strong communication within the team.

The role is located onsite in West Greenwich, RI.

What will you do?

Lead and coordinate Media-Buffer Preparation and Bioreactor Support Services Team Members

Provide and coverage as needed to support operations.

Follow established procedures and safety requirements to meet customer needs.

Effectively use available resources to make informed decisions and fulfill customer requirements.

Analyze, maintain, and reconcile various customer and Thermo Fisher reports.

Communicate any customer issues or potential problems to the Supervisor.

Develop personal growth and development by staying updated on policies and improvements.

Listen to customer concerns, resolve dissatisfaction, and strive for first call resolution.

Implement Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies.

Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific positively and expertly at customer locations.

Uphold safety standards and cultivate a secure work setting.

Preparing cell culture media and buffers.

Review batch records

Delivery Media/Buffers to designated locations.

Maintain inventory for consumables, and equipment components

Review work instructions on annual basis

Support and document calibrations of analytical equipment

Participate in customer support meetings

Performing laboratory services in a GXP environment..

Following Good Documentation Practices for record keeping.

Monitoring lab equipment information including calibration schedules and work orders.

Verifying and calibrating instruments according to protocols.

Promoting a safe work environment through safety initiatives.

Participating in projects such as cost savings analysis and leading team meetings.

Education/Experience:

A Bachelor's of Science Degree in a related field or similar qualifications are necessary.1+ years of similar experience is required.Previous experience working in a GMP laboratory environment.Team leadership experience preferred
