Demonstrates and promotes the company visionRegular attendance and punctualityApplies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriateOrganizing incoming and outgoing shipments including receiving, verifying, proper storage, and record keeping of shipments & equipment. Preparing items for shipment. Duties include: preparing ARF, assembling, temping, coding, addressing, stamping, and shipping product, equipment or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying temping, coding and recording incoming product, equipment, or materialHave knowledge of 49 CFR part 172 and all of its entities, IATA Dangerous Goods, DOT hazardous materials.Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient mannerPerforms other duties as assignedPrepares documents such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials.Verify and document incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, occurring during scheduled shiftRecords shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, temperatures, and damages, for reporting, accounting, inventory, and recordkeeping purposesPacks, seals, labels, and affixes postage to prepare materials for shipping, using work devices such as a UPS/FEDEX computer, and postage meter.Assist with running of errands, procurement pickups, and deliveries as needed (inside of Eurofins)Other duties as assignedQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Shipping KnowledgeCertified in IATA Dangerous GoodsKnowledge of DOT Hazardous MaterialsHigh School Degree, diploma, or a GED equivalent certificate from a certified institution; one to two years of related experience and/or training.
Additional preferences:
Safe Serve certified preferred.
Ability to work in a warehouse environment coordinating a variety of required projects and tasks.
Food handling and computer skills preferred
