Our flexible meeting space ranges in size from 250 square feet for intimate gatherings to 7,000 square feet, accommodating food and beverage functions for up to 500 people. With an additional 175 acres of outdoor adventures waiting, there is no better place to grow your career. Overview Oversee the setup of all meeting rooms according to function sheet specifications. Provides leadership and guidance to set up crew. Decision making in the absence of Supervisors or Managers. Sets up and breaks down conference rooms according to event orders as well as maintains cleanliness standards for equipment and meeting rooms. What You'll Be Doing: Maintain hotel’s standards, policies, and procedures with assigned staff. Prioritize & organize work assignments. Focus on attention to detail. Sets up for upcoming events. Adhere to timelines in completion of setups. Adapt to last minute changes, workflow, or requirements. Exert physical effort in transporting equipment, IE tables, chairs, staging, dance floor, podiums and other banquet/meeting room equipment. Ability to operate and remain extremely alert while operating designated equipment, machinery and tools. Maintain a clean and safe environment. Assist in controlling costs. Enforce all safety and security measures as outlined by hotel management. Protect assets of the company. Review BEO and check in with supervisor for instructions for current functions and sets assigned. Greet all guests in a courteous manner, displaying a helpful attitude. Ensure guests are provided with all conference needs and requests in a timely manner. Unload trays and carts in the service area. Keep areas neat, clean, and stocked. Complete closings procedures. Assist Banquets in all areas. Report hazardous conditions or broken equipment to the Maintenance Department immediately. Assigns tasks to houseman setup crew. Performs walk and lock at the end of the shift to ensure everything is setup for the next event in that room. Maintains professional appearance behavior when in with customers and fellow associates. What you have: Washington State Food Worker’s Card (or ability to obtain) MAST Card (or ability to obtain) Valid drivers license Minimum 1 year of job related experience Scheduling & Hours: Full-Time This is a 24-7, 365 day a year business that will require some work during mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. A flexible schedule that can move between shifts and days as needed is highly desired.
