As a GIS Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe, high-quality installation, commissioning, and maintenance of GIS equipment, ensuring compliance with GE’s standards and client requirements. You will act as the key link between the Product Unit, Service teams, and client, ensuring smooth project delivery while safeguarding safety, quality, cost, and environmental standards.

Project & Site Management
Supervise GIS installation, commissioning, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with GE standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental protection.
Manage daily operations and field resources to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to specification.
Conduct investigative site visits, reporting on equipment condition, failures, or maintenance needs.
Prepare and issue RAMS, NCRs, TQs, and site instructions; ensure accurate documentation and compliance with GE quality governance.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead and develop GIS installation teams, including subcontractors, technicians, and apprentices.
Support evaluations, appraisals, and skills development to maintain a competent and motivated workforce.
Foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and accountability across site teams.
Client & Product Liaison
Act as the main interface between GIS Product Units, Service Units, and client representatives for product or installation issues.
Provide timely reporting on project progress, product issues, and engineering variations to Project Managers.
Promote strong working relationships to resolve issues quickly and maintain customer satisfaction.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
Ensure the integrity, quality, and reliability of GIS installations.
Raise and manage nonconformities (NCPs), driving root cause resolution and improvements.
Contribute to lessons learned, best practices, and continual improvement initiatives for future projects.
