Lead SDET (Hybrid)
Job Description The Lead SDET is responsible for building software, frameworks, and automation tools that ensure end-to-end confidence in applications. This role focuses on driving quality through automation, applying best coding practices, and collaborating across disciplines. The ideal candidate values continuous learning, leads by example, communicates effectively, and mentors others while guiding the team toward organizational goals. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days onsite in Los Angeles, Orange County, or Pittsburgh (Salary will be based off location) Key Responsibilities Design and implement automation frameworks to improve quality and deployment speed Analyze code flow and interactions across processes Document processes and recommend improvements Manage and track user issues; troubleshoot bugs on mobile, desktop, and web platforms Execute and maintain automated tests; debug scripts Participate in planning meetings and provide technical feedback We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years in software development/testing, with a focus on web and mobile applications Strong foundation in object-oriented principles, algorithms, and problem-solving Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript Expertise in TDD, BDD, and testing patterns Experience designing and implementing test strategies for complex applications Strong communication and leadership skills Familiarity with Continuous Integration and best coding practices Experience with pipeline-as-code and GitHub Actions Knowledge of LambdaTest and TestRail Understanding of data-driven testing practices Mobile testing and automation frameworks
