1. Support Project team all New / Acquired Thermal Project and upgradation of operating assets of APL in SCADA - GE, SIEMENS, NARI and HEIL SAS systems.

2. Preparation of Specifications for SCADA and Teleprotection systems

3. Support for FAT/ Commissioning / troubleshooting of Multiple OEM : BCU & Gateways / RTU.

4. Study and understanding OT protocols like IEC 61850, IEC-104 / 101 etc. and Networking aspects of Industrial IEC-61850 certified Ethernet Switches - Ruggedcom, Hirschmann etc. to support site commissioning / troubleshooting activities.

5. Support for implementation, testing and troubleshooting of windows-based Gateways / RTU for DCS / Main Plant related data requirement.

6. Support O&M site team to ensure 24x7 availability of SAS system to Site team and Real time data reporting to LDC of all Thermal sites and its related troubleshooting.

7. Visit to Thermal sites for providing support during any SAS operational issues and during SCADA Audits.

8. Study and understanding of new OT technologies like Process Bus, IEC 61850-9-2LE and other relevant IEC & IEEE standards.

 

B.E. (Electrical/ Electronics & Communication) with 8 - 10 years of Experience in O&M, Engineering, FAT & Commissioning of various OEM Substation Automation System , FOTE and PLCC system 5-10 years of experience in the Thermal / Transmission industry (Preferred) Shall possess experience in application, and technology for Substation Automation System IEC-61850 (SCD, ICD & CID, GOOSE), FOTE and PLCC Shall possess experience in application engineering and hands-on working experience on IEC-61850 Based substation automation systems, BCU, RTU, IEDs and engineering tools for deployments into real-time operation in green as well as brown field projects and extending technical support for site related issues/problems
