Lead Salesforce Engineer
Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Lead Salesforce Application Engineer to join the Membership Technology team at a large retail company. In this role, you’ll be responsible for implementing and scaling the next generation of guest membership experiences in Salesforce. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional squads across Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud to deliver a unified membership and engagement vision. Skills and Requirements • 5+ years of experience leading a team of developers • Experience with Salesforce Loyalty Cloud (data model, program setup, tiers, transactions) • Proven experience partnering with Enterprise and Domain architects across multiple technology domains in a hybrid ecosystem • 8+ years of experience developing solutions on Salesforce Service/Sales Cloud using Flows, Apex, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) • Strong understanding of Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud integration patterns • Expertise in designing and implementing integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs or out-of-the-box adapters • Ability to guide development teams on when to configure vs customize on Salesforce Core platform • Comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce platform evolution (Classic, Workflow Rules, modern capabilities like Agentforce) • Experience with Jira or similar scrum tools • Expertise in Git, GitHub, and SFDX in VS Code for version control, collaborative development, and CI/CD best practices
