**Position Summary**
Roasts all coffees based on production demand. Reports all lot code discrepancies to Management on duty or ICM. Keeps track of batch information for Lot Tracking and FDA reporting purposes. Works with production management and Green Buyer to ensure quality is being upheld (cupping, analysis, etc). Create and tweak base line roaster recipes to uphold standard.
**Position Responsibilities**
+ Roasts all coffees based on production demand
+ Manages the counts of all green coffee and reports what needs to be ordered so that green coffees can be ordered
+ Enters all roasted batch information in accounting software for Lot Tracking and FDA reporting purpose
+ Works with Production Management to ensure coffee is being completed from roasting to it's specified packaged state
+ Works with our Quality Assurance department to help assure procedures and processes are being followed
+ Works with Production Management and Green Buyer to perform necessary tests
+ Trains new employees on proper techniques of roasting
+ Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
Required Experience: 1 - 3 Years
Experience in warehouse /production environment or the coffee industry.
