We are looking for a dedicated Lead Respiratory Therapist - Adult like you to be a part of our team. **Job Summary and Qualifications** **The Adult Respiratory Team Leader functions independently within their scope of practice. Acts as an immediate supervisor to adult respiratory therapists on both shifts, including the charge therapists. Supervises departmental clinical activities, including performance improvement, and performs an administrative role in department functions. Works closely with the manager/director regarding staffing, operations and departmental issues. Subjected to irregular hours and pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries. Required to work rotating weekends and holidays. Requires rational judgment and clinical thinking. Creates an environment and culture that enables Respiratory Care Services to fulfill the mission of the facility and meet or exceed its goals.** **What qualifications you will need:** + Current TN licensure; (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist or (CRT-State) Certified Respiratory Therapist with 5 years of acute experience + Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date TriStar Centennial Medical Center is a 740+ bed comprehensive facility.
