Lead Recruiter - Pet Resorts National Veterinary Associates

Job Summary 

 

The Lead Recruiter is a demonstrated talent advisor, who may oversee the recruiting activity of others. The primary focus of a Lead Recruiter is to carry a requisition load focused on hiring full time positions in the Support Center and management roles in the Field.  S/he will have a demonstrated knowledge of recruiting best practices and understand navigating client and candidate support.   

 

Overview of the Role 

 

The Lead Recruiter will be responsible for the following:  

Leads recruitment activities to hire Pet Resorts team members, developing strategies to achieve required results.  

Demonstrates skill partnering with hiring managers to deeply understand business needs with proven ability to push hiring managers on their thinking and process challenges.  

Prepares presentations/reports to inform leadership of recruiting progress and effectiveness.  

Upholds and ensures data quality by reviewing reports and holding the business accountable to defined SLAs (resume review, candidate feedback, next steps, etc.)  

Advises hiring managers in candidate selection and offers.  

Assists management in successfully onboarding new recruiting hires.  

Participates on projects and feedback sessions to help shape the goals and strategy of the broader Recruiting team.  

As new processes and procedures are rolled out, drives change management with the team.  

Assist with other People-related tasks when time permits (i.e., LOAs, employee relations) 

 

Qualifications Required 

 

7+ years of experience in full lifecycle recruiting for both corporate and field positions, managing a requisition workload of 15-25 requisitions. 

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field is preferred 

Experience working in applicant tracking systems and reporting/presentation tools (Avature & Workstream preferred).  

Experience working with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI) 

Has the experience and willingness to actively network and contact passive candidates, without just relying on job postings to fill roles.  

Experience presenting and negotiating offers.  

Understands legality and laws when it comes to job postings, providing salary information, ban-the-box, adverse action, etc.  

Interest in pursuing a career in Talent Acquisition/Human Resources.

Must have great collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams.

Authentic and direct communicator with ability to build strong relationships across all levels.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 with eligibility to earn a 15% bonus annually. Compensation is based on applicable experience.
