Responsibilities

Oversees the Radiology Research activities within the department. Uses effective leadership, judgment, and problem-solving skills in a teamwork environment. Maintains a high level of expertise in the use of all equipment in the area. Ensures the production of high-quality images that meet the standards established by the Mayo Radiology Department. Directs and practices safety guidelines for themselves, staff, and patients. In addition to these duties, the Lead Radiologic Technologist (MR) – Radiology Research provides leadership, builds commitment, educates and trains personnel in the work area and generates feedback. May be required to work varied hours, shift lengths which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.



Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an ARRT approved or recognized Health Science program. Bachelor of Science degree preferred. Two years modality specific experience preferred. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee.

Required: 

-Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer service 

-Ability to improvise standard procedures 

-Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, making decisions and directing work and patient flow to achieve maximum operational efficiency 

-Detail oriented with strong organizational skills  

-ARRT (MR) credential 

-Annual documentation of modality specific certification required. 

-CPR/BLS certification

$37.95 - $56.95 / hour; Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
